What is a Dedicated Server?

A Dedicated Server Solution is a type of hosting in which the client rents an entire server that is not shared by anyone. This is more flexible than a Virtual Private Server (VPS) Solution as clients obtain full control of the server(s). Including such options choice of Operating System (OS), choice of Software, full root access (including kernel configuration.) and much more! Our Dedicated Server Solution will offer a less overhead and saving of thousands of dollars in upfront costs.

We recommend a Dedicated Server Solution for client wanting a more "dedicated" environment, large websites/forums and medium-large businesses.

We believe that home PCs deserve to stay at home. Carrying only genuine Dell and IBM hardware backed by decades of quality products and service. Rest easy knowing that your server's hardware is designed for 24/7 activity and not some home built PC.

At Accurate Hub Networks we carry two types of Dedicated Servers; Blade Systems and Rack Units. Each solution has its advantages and disadvantages; they are both two excellent solutions to choose from. Note, all servers are un-managed.

Blade Servers:

Blade Servers are the new release to the I.T. hosting industry. Considerably small in size, Blade Servers offer a much greater performance per footprint, giving clients the best "Bang for the Buck". Our Blade Servers feature many redundant features including power modules, fan modules, cooling modules and management modules.

We recommend Blade Servers for clients who have a lower budget, or those interested in maintaining multiple systems, example running redundant server farm.

Rack Units:

Although the Blade Servers do sound like the ideal solution, they however do not provide the answer to every computing solution. The typical Rack Unit Servers offer a larger range of flexibility, options and expansion slots. While Blade Systems may offer high level performance and redundancy for cheaper prices they are limited to the smaller drive space and expansion.

We recommend Rack Units for clients who require expansion and large capacity.
